Anthroposophic Therapeutic Speech ATS: From Gesture to Emotion

$150.00

Two-Part Workshop live and online: Recordings available

March 16th at 10:30am - 12:30 EST; and

April 27th at 10:30am - 12:30 EST

From Gesture to Emotion – Six Modalities in Communication

This introduction to the concept of three polarities in our engagement with the world will guide you—both through movement and conceptualization—to a deeper understanding of the connection between fundamental physical and vocal gestures and their corresponding emotions. These gestures are subconsciously used by everyone in daily life. By becoming aware of these modalities, we can navigate our various roles in life with greater ease and freedom.

In the second part of the course (April 2025), we will build on this concept, explore and experiment with examples you create after the first course, and share questions. We may also examine gestures that support sound articulation in children, helping you develop meaningful gestures for your own verse.
