The Art of Speech Collective is a community spreading its wings to develop capacities to reach a higher level of communication and connection.

Being part of The Art of Speech Collective brings a community of like minded individuals together to study Creative Speech as a path of both personal and pedagogical/professional development.

WHO WE ARE

The Art of Speech Collective serves those with diverse backgrounds and specialties, offering a variety of courses and learning modalities, including opportunities for student-led classes and presentations encompassing multiple disciplines. These can lead to various levels of certification, or simply  support your journey of self discovery and/or professional development.

THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

Debbie brings enthusiasm and generosity to her programs, engaging the students in ways that inspire curiosity about how their speech impacts life personally and socially.  Creative Speech also generates a sense of inner calm and peace, along with a relaxed nervous system, as if being transported to a new, heightened awareness.

OUR COMMUNITY

The Art of Speech Collective is its own organization, while also working collaboratively with other organizations to bring speech artistry to greater awareness. Founder Debbie Spitulnik works with organizations such as the  Antioch University Teacher Training Programs, Association for Healing Education, Waldorf High School Teacher Education Program, and the Center for Anthroposophy’s Kairos Institute as well as mentoring for multiple charter and private schools and their faculty, as a way to further expand the importance of Creative Speech.

The Art of Speech Collective is for anyone who wants to find a deeper connection with themselves and others through the spoken word.

About The Art of Speech Collective

The Collective serves to cultivate inspiration, imagination, and intuition by bringing speech to greater consciousness. The Collective gives the opportunity to explore the mysteries of language, and develop your own unique voice and gifts.

Participants take this wisdom into the world via their teaching, and also through disciplines such as  storytelling, conversational connection, dramatic expression, and more. The Collective supports participants in cultivating relationships through the power of speech and expression in a world struggling to find a true voice.

Participants of TASC (The Art of Speech Collective) learn, interact, engage and teach, allowing for the practical application of skills with a strong focus on pedagogy and healing.  We bring the art of Creative Speech to our classrooms, families and communities by imbuing our speech with liveliness, clarity, and warmth.

“I’d never experienced a speech teacher like Debbie. Working with her really changed the way I thought about myself…to be thoughtful, with poise, and also expand my imagination. One of the best teachers I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Amazing!”
