ATS Session Two: From Gesture to Emotion – Six Modalities in Communication

$250.00

Debbie Spitulnik welcomes you to Anthroposophic Therapeutic Speech ATS: From Gesture to Emotion – Six Modalities in Communication with Dietrich Von Bonin MME, ATS-practitioner, Certified Arts Therapist.

This deepening of the introduction to the concept of three polarities in our engagement with the world will guide you, both through movement and conceptualization, to a deeper understanding of the connection between fundamental physical and vocal gestures and their corresponding emotions.

These gestures are subconsciously used by everyone in daily life. By becoming aware of these modalities, we can navigate our various roles in life with greater ease and freedom. In the second part of the course, we will continue to build on this concept, explore and experiment with examples you create after the first course, and share questions. We may also examine gestures that support sound articulation in children, helping you develop meaningful gestures for your own verses.

Open to everyone!

Offered live and recorded via video platform.

Meets Sunday, October 12 & Saturday, November 1, 10:30 - 12:30 EST
